Kids in the Kitchen Tuesday – Frightfull Cheese Toast


What’s Halloween without Ghosts?  These are frightfully cheesy ones!
 


Today in the Kids Kitchen, we experimented with black rice pasta – making it into a veggie pasta.  The result was not favored by the kids.  I hope to tweak the recipe to create a different flavor of dressing.  Also, the kids had a hard time getting used to the idea they would be eating noodles cold, it was something new for them.  
In the end, the Cheese Toast had them won over!
AND, seriously, do I even need to post a recipe here?
 
Sliced wheat bread, melted white cheese (any kind), black olives (that you chop into desirable ghost face shapes). That’s it.
